今回はシュノーケリングをお願いしましたが、海岸から腰まで入った所で注意事項の説明を、いざシュノーケリングを開始したらそこから10〜15mほど沖に向かった所で直ぐにウミガメに会う事ができました。現在５月は赤ウミガメ・青ウミガメの両方がいるそうですが、我々は青ウミガメと出会いました。呑気に海底深水2〜3mあたりの何かを食べていましたが、5〜6分に一度のタイミングで呼吸のために海面に顔を出すので間近で見ることが叶いました。因みにウミガメを触る事は絶対に禁止なのであくまでも近くで眺める、観察するだけに限ります。触ってしまうとウミガメはビックリしたり、ひどく触るとウミガメが弱ってしまい、二度とそのエリアや人間の近くに寄り付かなくなってしまうので、ウミガメと自然の中で遭遇しても眺めるだけにして下さい。
3時間コースをお願いしましたがかいし30分でウミガメに遭遇して満足したので1時間後には上がっていました。
インストラクターさんとして2名が一緒に付いてきてくれました。器材は多少使い込んでいますが、十分機能していて問題なく、洗浄もしっかりしてあるので気になる事はありませんでした。
シュノーケリングは一人3時間6,600円でした。
ウミガメに会える確率は結構高いし、ダイビング用のウェットスーツは浮力もあるので、素人でも安心して参加できると思います。 - via
