Update: finally received refund. It did look fun, might give it a try again if we go back, just wont buy tickets in adavce since weather can impact. Understandable need for safety. Updated stars but can't fully review since we didn't ride.
Original: Bought tickets in advance online. Arrived on day we were supposed to ride, was told by the operator was closing due to high winds. Totally understandable. She offered a refund or we could come back the next day we decided to try and come back the next day. When we arrived the same sign was in the window closed due to high winds. We had one more day so we thought we would give it another try. Went back Saturday before leaving town, same sign was in the window that they were closed due to high winds, weather seemed clear that day. Have tried emailing and calling to get refund with no response or being sent to VM. Guessing we are going to be out $40+ that we paid. Really wanted to give this a try and our daughter was so excited for it. Maybe do not offer advance tickets if no one available for refunds when ride is closed.... - via
