We surfed well, because of our great instructor! Surf shop is located just across the street from the beach access. Riley, our instructor met us at the shop and we were in the water & surfing within 15 minutes. Loved the 'learn as you go' approach, as our instructor provided constant coaching and encouragement throughout the entire session. After our session, Riley gave us a tour of their very relaxing & calm surf shop and shared he and Bri's (his spouse) approach to using surfing and art to empower young girls. What's not to love! BTW, after our session, we got to see Bri, who is 32 weeks pregnant, paddle out to surf. Pure badass! - via
