Firstly, our instruction was really good, professional, and felt extemely safe. The equipment all seemed great and up to scratch. One of the instructors there, Morgan, was extremely kind and gave us a lift back to Pefkos after we decided we didn't want to do the second dive of the day (my partner couldn't really get used to the breathing, I couldn't really get used to the movement, but neither of us blamed our instructors who were helpful and kind - we just weren't very good and it wasn't for us) - in his personal car, while ferrying his friends back.
The reason this place drops a star is the rather poor organisation at the start of the day. We were on holiday - but we set an alarm and got up early, having both completed the safety course online, and walked over to the centre. We then sat for an hour(!), maybe slightly more, in the hot sun, while other beginner divers turned up and were told to download the app and complete the course.
This just seems like bad organisation and bad service. I can't understand the logic begind telling people to do the course before they show up, and then leaving them sitting for an hour while others who haven't bothered do that course complete it on the spot. If we hadn't bothered to do it at all then at least we'd have something to do while we sat about waiting! - via
