We rented a condo in Coconut Bay, West Bay and used Stingray Watersports for the onsite diving as well as a boat dive trip and a Sting Ray City, Sunset Cruise and Bio-luminescent Bay trip. Stingray Watersports was by far the best charter company we have used in our annual vacation to Grand Cayman. They let us arrange our own excursion for both divers and non-divers. We gave them a list of everything we wanted to do as a group and they were able to arrange a trip that included all of our top choices and a very nice dinner in the middle at Kaibo Beach Restaurant. The crew was knowledgeable about everything on the trip and gave us guidance on how to get the most out of our excursion. We never felt rushed to keep up with a group and the crew accommodated our every request. They advised the best time to start the trip to get the most out of our time at each stop. The same was true of our boat dive. The price for each excursion was more than reasonable especially considering the flexibility and personalized attention we were given.
I should also mention that the diving in front of Coconut Bay was outstanding. Being able to wake up, go kit up and get into the water whenever we wanted was so wonderful! We had done scheduled dive trips in the past and hated the schedule, so the flexibility of having tanks and weights available all day and all night made our trip absolutely perfect. We dove as a family and in couples throughout our time at Coconut Bay and each time we saw things that we'd not seen on other dives. We dove at all times of the day and night and never had a bad dive. . . the only problem was that it seemed that every dive ended far too quickly because there was still more to see. - via
