My LEK experience was amazing from start to finish! But it was too short, so I would recommend visiting LEK as soon as you get to Cabarete to get the most of your kite trip! The entire LEK team staff is extremely friendly and caring. The office staff Maxine, Aleks and Laurel took care of me on my first visit to get information, they made me feel welcome and explained the steps of how lessons work. I’m at a beginner level and I recommend LEK to everyone who wants to start or keep progressing before being autonomous: the people, the vibe, the location, it makes everything easy and fun!
My instructor Leo was so kind and friendly! He made sure I was safe and helped me feel confident. He confirmed my skills and level, and then we picked up from there to make sure I progress. And wow, in only two days I feel like I learned so much! Leo is a very great teacher, explaining, demonstrating, encouraging. And he was great at pushing me to trust myself and relax in the water. The waves and large number of riders in Cabarete can be intimidating, but I felt at ease thanks to him. His tips and guidance were always on point and helped me so much!
