We had a great time surfing at the Bongkas Surf School. Three of our group of five were surfing for the first time and we were all able to stand on the board by the end of our lesson. Our two guides were very patient and knowledgeable and helped us find the right waves and push our boards so we were able to get up.They also helped us get past the breaks of the waves when swimming out on our boards, especially when there were big waves crashing. We went in January and the weather was fine, although it did rain later on the afternoon, and because it was low season there were fewer people out surfing. We would definitely recommend this lesson to anyone who is just learning how to surf! - via
