We were on the Emperor Elite and did the South and St John route. For those of us in the cabins below (1-8), the fuel smell was horrible. We complained each day but it did not seem they could do much about it. We also returned home with the luggage and clothes still smelling like fumes even after a couple washings. The food was great, the support staff in the kitchen and on the dive deck were great. We had a divemaster that does not usually work this boat named Ahrum (spelling). He treated us all like we were first time divers which I did not appreciate. His comments and body gestures were sometimes rude. I finally told him just to navigate and not worry about us and that we were all experienced divers and would follow. The other thing I did not like was that there were only 2 divemasters on board for 23 divers. Also, they did not rinse our gear at the end nor provide us with buckets to be able to rinse our bc's and wetsuits. Almost left out one other thing that happened. As we were doing a dive briefing while trying to anchor, we managed to run into another boat that was anchored. The front of the other boat smashed out a side window. It was quite scary at first. Thank goodness it wasn't worse. I would not recommend this liveaboard. - via
