I've heard horror stories about AMS during peak of summer travels, we didn't have any issue except with 15min delay departing from MAD and about 30min delay with boarding at AMS which pilot made up by adding more fuel to fly faster! AMS was crowded as expected, definitely found some relief at the lounge thanks to our business tix. Love the Dutch hospitality, we were lucky to enjoy both breakfast and lunch offerings as our flight departs around 1pm. This is the non Schengen lounge and it is definitely less crowded than the Schengen one! There are two levels, second level is definitely less hectic and offer the respite we needed - via
