I would say my experience of this place was average. We visited in person after having just qualified as open water divers and explained we had only just passed and the lady did nothing to put our minds at ease (or check we had in fact qualified), took our money and told us to be at the shop 8.15 the next day. Arrived on time and proceeded to wait for everyone else who were presumably late. The boat then forgot some divers so stopped on the way to the first dive site until they caught up in a speed boat. (This delay changed the schedule for the day which didn’t affect us personally but meant some people did not get the dive they expected).
We were then given our instructor who also did very little to explain where we were going or put our minds at ease. Visibility was very poor (despite being told it is reliably 10-15m when booking - but admittedly I don’t know if this was intentional or if we were just unlucky)
We were in a group of 5 and 2 of the group had paid extra for a “refresher dive” but received the exact same day as us so suggest not paying extra for a service you don’t get and just pay 1000thb less for a fun dive.
Upon getting back to land, 2 taxis were provided which was one less than was needed to fit everyone on and no explanation given on if one was coming back so we decided to walk back ourselves instead of waiting in the sun.
Despite the above, we did still enjoy the day and lunch was decent. If you are a diver with a bit of experience then I’m sure they’re great and if you’re brand new, I’m sure they’re also great but if you’re stuck in the middle of those two, I’d maybe not bother. - via
