Just spent two nights at this lovely little resort called Big Fin Divers Resort and had a great time. Most of the folks who stay there go for the diving however we just wanted a peaceful stay in a pretty setting. Our room was tastefully yet minimally decorated, with a mosquito net that kept the few pesky mosquitoes away from us. The bathrooms were attached...my favorite part...and hanging out on the hammocks on the front porch of our room we could quietly enjoy a view of Mt. Kinabalu or read a book. I did both. Also saw a beautiful sunset and had a little swim. Mostly pleasant...there was some seaweed that tickled my feet. Boo! We were provided three meals a day and the food was simple and delicious....if you would like to get away from the bustle of KK and enjoy beauty and tranquility, consider this little resort. - via
