I have been coming to Heron since I was a little kid. It’s one of my favourite places in the world. As always the marine life and the island were just amazing. I would like to thank the staff, all of them. They keep this place running. They were visibly overworked and short staffed a lot of the time yet still giving their best to all customers. Higher management, if you read this please look after your staff and make their jobs easier. I had no complaints about anything but I could see customers looking at the facilities and prices for everything and being dumbfounded. Heard people saying they would never go there again. It is very sad because it truly is a special place. Any bad review you get has nothing to do with the staff, they seem to be the ones keeping the cogs turning. The staff at the shearwater, you are all so kind and amazing people. The crew at reception, so approachable and lovely and helpful. All the other staff we encountered greeted us with smiles and made us feel so welcome . Thank you - via
