One of the best experiences of my life. We had a dynamite Counselor that prepared us the day we arrived at base camp. I'm sorry, I don't remember her name but she was a terrific hostess.
There were two options when we left Sea Base Scout Camp, and my group elected the one to sail to Key West. Sailing with 5 other boy scouts, 2 adult leaders, and a captain on a sail boat was a dream come true. I did catch a virus while there at the tail end of the trip, but still that was not going to ruin my fun.
I was sad to hear right after my group was there, a major hurricane did damage to the camp. I would love to return and see what has become of Sea Base. - via
