This was my first dive resort experience, and I'm hooked. Anilao is the perfect dive location for macro and octopus lovers. I even saw blue ring and mimic octopus and photographed dozens of unique nudis and macro life. The villa is lovely. All rooms built up a hill have ocean view. There is a dedicated camera room for divers and great food daily. Staff is wonderful and don't miss the fantastic massage in the spa on top of the hill, worth the climb up the stairs every day! - via 
Puerto Galera is a great dive location! So many sites with coral, macro life and turtles. The resort is great, resting in a quiet bay that I learned was one of the best snorkeling locations anywhere (though I didn't snorkel but will next time). Scuba (and all) staff is enthusiastic and every member of the team so friendly. Massages on location, perfect, but within walking distance of town if you wish to see it. The owner is a great guy, as well and it was fun chatting with him. I will return here! - via
