I cannot recommend this dive enough!!! Shark diving has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. A friend recommended emerald charters to and my boyfriend and I booked a trip immediately based on her experience with them. And I can say, it did not disappoint. Captain Randy, Josh and Chris were the best. Josh (our shark feeder) went over the procedures and rules very clearly prior to our first dive so we all knew exactly what to expect from the moment we hit the water. They made you feel extremely safe so the entire time you are able to stay calm and enjoy the experience of swimming with these beautiful animals. These are negative entry drift dives so you need to be prepared to start going down the second you hit the water. Our first dive consisted of 6-7 bull sharks, our second dive had about 12-15 bull sharks and our third dive was with 5 very social lemon sharks. I would absolutely recommend emerald charters to anyone who has experience diving and wants to swim with sharks. My boyfriend and I are already booking our next dive in March in hopes to see a tiger shark! They are not a boat shop so make sure to coordinate any rental items with Jupiter Scuba (you can rent from wherever but through Jupiter Scuba they bring it to you right at the boat) beforehand and check ALL of your gear & tanks prior to the dive. Their focus is on getting you in the water with sharks and the safety of swimming with sharks - not with helping you navigate your gear so be a prepared diver!
