Oneta is a wonderful resort with a luscious setting, incredible reef, great food, and, above all, amazing staff. From the moment you meet the crew at the airport in Kadavu, through the welcoming ceremony; from the cheerful greetings throughout the day to the universal can-do spirit, the staff truly elevate the experience. I visited during the rainy season so certain activities were either harder to accomplish, or simply didn't work out, but there were always backups that were just as good and the extensive list of dive and snorkel sites ensures that there's always somewhere beautiful to visit even when the resort itself is beset with wind and rain. The communal dining and excursion experience was great for me since I also got to know the other guests and felt more like I was joining a really cool and diverse family than just staying in a hotel for a week. - via
