We booked for me to do the discover scuba diving and my wife to snorkel. We were recommended Ibiza scuba diving center by guest services at our hotel. All the paperwork, questionnaires and online learning was done prior to arrival at the center. On arrival we signed a paper copy, got changed and were given an introduction to the equipment and safety brief.
The dive site was a short 10 minute journey by boat to a small island. I was assisted into the equipment and entered the water, after a couple of practical exercises we descended. My instructor never left my side and was reassuring throughout. The dive was supposed to last 20 minutes but, as I was the only person diving, we were underwater for nearer 35 minutes!
The overall experience was calm, unhurried and, most importantly, safe. I am now seriously considering doing my diving qualification and wouldn’t hesitate to return to Ibiza scuba diving center. I could not be happier with how my first underwater experience went! - via
