Diver Dan's was a good local shop but have basically gone downhill the past 3 years. I purchased two steel tanks and requested they be cleaned and prepped with 32% nitrox. When I picked it up, they were filled with air. I talked to the associate and Dan that these should be nitrox, they both refused to refill with nitrox. The associated smirked and said: guess your diving air.
Then further inspection I noticed they installed a standard burst disk on a high-pressure tank. Brought the tank back and they basically said "oops" with no apologies.
If they can't get the fill correctly and can't install the proper burst disk, why would I trust them with servicing regulators.
I just cannot recommend diver dans anymore. Was a good shop, but I guess things have changed. - via
