Went snorkelling here recently and absolutely adored the experience. The staff were as friendly as they were experienced, and had no trouble communicating in English. They were even willing to accommodate my extreme clumsiness and general ineptitude, which is saying something!
We had two wonderful guides come with us, Nanna and Charlotte, who were kind enough to send us their own photos they had taken on the trip once it was all over. (Having them with us was the breath of fresh air you need after being submerged for so long!)
If you’re planning on visiting, but don’t have much to spend, don’t be put off by the snorkelling! It’s still an incredible view and you are able to swim down to visit the sites closer if you want to. That being said, I would have loved to do the scuba diving, as it seemed incredibly immersive for the people on the same trip as us. My only regret is that we weren’t in Italy long enough to come back for a second expedition! - via
