We were really looking forward to this experience since we heard so much about it and the once in a lifetime opportunity. It was recommended we stay the night which we did on Vieques. Sadly we booked when the moon decided to show up. So with that we didn't get the real full experience for what we were expecting. A real bummer. Melayas tours is not responsible for the moon schedule however our tour guide was terrific and full of energy and pleasant and knew the area and history of the island very well and was a pleasure! But we wished that the service didn't allow you to book the tour knowing the experience wouldn't live up to the hype when the moon is full or out.
So with that we will plan accordingly next time we come to PR. My recommendation is to know the moon schedule before you book so as to get the real experience.
