My son and I had a terrific time on Il Moro in the San Diego Bay in early December. In addition to enjoying being on the water in Il Moro, it was terrific to learn all the Bee had to share on the history of America's Cup, including the people and the boats. Il Moro is a beautiful boat and it's amazing to think about being on it during its racing days. My son and I got to drive and grind. Bee was extremely focused on making sure we were well take care of (we were) and she's a fantastic hostess. Additionally, the volunteer crew was terrific. I'll definitely want to go again on future San Diego visits. I highly recommend this for all who enjoy being out on a sail boat -- especially in the San Diego Bay. [One of my pet peeves is going on sailing excursions that are only a tiny bit sailing and mostly them running their engine. In this case, the engine was only used to get us in and out of dock and the rest of the time, the wind powered us along.] Finally, it was great how the photos were included in the price of our tickets -- unlike many tourist activities where that's another revenue source. - via
