I came to Howe back in the late 70's. I was a troubled youth. Lost both of my parents by age 15. Howe taught me many things especially about life. Honor and respect stand out the most. In my senior year at Howe I got in trouble and had a Board of Review for dismal. Although there was no direct evidence of my misdeed, when asked I admitted to it. Howe taught me how to stand up be a man and take responsibly for my actions. It was perhaps the hardest lesson I learned. But it was the right decision. Looking back, I of course wanted to graduate from Howe. Although I don't have the official Howe diploma I live my life as though I do. - via
