Nomad Divers is a wonderful family run dive resort in Bangka with a wealth of fabulous reefs very close by. The owners, staff and dive guides are extremely friendly, helpful and really do their very best to make your stay welcoming and comfortable.
I was impressed by the food and there was almost always enough for a second helping (which was sometime necessary because I was doing four dives a days )
Due to the resort's somewhat isolated location, there were a few issues regarding a lack of consistent power and WiFi, but the owners and staff are all working hard to address this minor issue.
Otnih, the local dive instructor, was excellent at finding little critters during the macro dives and the boat crew were also friendly and helpful.
I'd recommend this place for those who want want an excellent diving experience without too many other dives in the water.
I'd definitely like to come back to Nomad Divers in the future. It was a lovely, homey place to stay and diving there was really excellent. - via
