I dive with Pura Vida fairly frequently and I have nothing but great things to say about them.
For starters, every single crew member is great. Everyone is very friendly/welcoming and they go out of their way to make sure everyone has a good time and stays safe.
Speaking of safety, its clear Pura Vida operates with safety as priority #1, which is a huge part of why I keep coming back.
Their boats itself have everything I’d expect for a dive boat and I have no complaints there.
As for the diving, they offer shallow dives, reef dives, or even speciality dives like night dives and tech dives. I’m most familiar with the former 2 so I’ll speak to those. They are 2 tank charters and the captain and crew select the sites day of. These are all drift dives and I’ve never had a bad dive with Pura Vida yet. I routinely see turtles, groups, sharks, eels, and all sorts of reef fish. Suffice to say, they know the best spots.
All in all, there is a reason I keep diving with Pura Vida. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to dive some of the best spots in south Florida with a friendly and safety minded crew. - via
