I did my wing walking last year in June.
If you're someone who's just looking for a great experience, this is amazing.
However, If you're someone like me who wanted to relive your moments by seeing the videos and photos after the experience, it wasn't a good one.
When I got down from the plane after completing the wing walking, I was told that the Front GoPro video memory card was corrupted.
They gave me the corrupted card upon request. I tried to recover it by paying money to third party services, but they couldn't recover it. The recovery charges were significantly higher in the $300-400 range, which I still wasn't able to recover after paying.
I reached Mason Academy regarding this issue to reimburse and their response is quoted as follows -
"Sorry, we are not able to help with that. That is why we run multiple cameras, so that no one goes home empty handed. You still have many pictures and videos to enjoy. We do our best with the cameras by adding freshly charged batteries and empty SD cards, but some things are out of our control."
My disheartening experience is that if you're unable to provide all the videos and photos that one expects, please reimburse them for that amount. - via
