I met Ali at the line up in Medewi 3 years ago. The water was calm and out of nowhere he said while the horizon was still flat : "5 big waves coming bro." I was skeptical but indeed, 30 seconds later the set was coming, and it was a five-wave set! I was impressed by his knowledge of the spot, not to mention his style when you see him surf. What's more he's super friendly. I was not a direct customer but I would definitely recommend the guide. He knows what he's talking about. - via
