Reef Oasis Dive Center at the Wyndham Viva Dominicus Beach Resort is an excellent and professional world class dive center. I found this site after looking through PADI 5 Star centers in the Dominican Republic. They exceeded my expectations. It was my hope that I could arrange for my daughter to get Open Water certified and for myself to get Advanced Open Water certified. Miguel Somedilla was extremely helpful and accommodating in making the arrangements. With their excellent training, we both completed the necessary courses in 2 days. Narcisso took extra time teaching my daughter and was very patient. I worked with Kim. She was a bit mind boggling. She is a Belgian marine biologist, of course. She conducted dive briefings in 4 or 5 languages with ease, because she can. She was uber-knowledgeable, especially about marine life. She got me through the compass navigation course, which is always been a challenge for me, with a little trouble. We then did a deep dive on the wreck of the St. George. Finally, my daughter and I were able to take a couple of dives together, which was priceless. A wonderful experience. Highly recommended. - via
