I just took the PADI Open Water Dive Class last weekend. It was a great experience. Our instructor, Dennis, has an obvious passion for scuba diving and instruction. He was patient and thoroughly answered all of our questions. I could tell he really enjoys doing this. Alex also helped out and provided great tips.
The first day in the pool was a bit of a learning experience. The second day I felt much more comfortable. It really made me look forward to my upcoming trip to the Caribbean, where I plan to do my open water certification :)
We had a small group (6). It was nice to meet and experience it with other future scuba enthusiasts. I would encourage people thinking about doing this to take the plunge (ha!). - via
