FOOD POISONING on our 34th anniversary. We became sick the second day of vacation and bed ridden for the remaining four days. Restaurant 101- safety handle food, maintain at the proper temperature and always wash your hands. Apparently something went wrong with the basics. The resort would not acknowledge and requested a stool sample although we would not receive the results. Kinda funny that the patient would not receive only the resort. Upon checking out, the manager said all the correct corporate responses as reading from a script while handing us the bill for the medicine that we had to buy from the gift shop. I could understand if we developed the flu or COVID but we developed food poisoning which was a direct result of the resort’s action or lack of. Expensive 1 1/2 day for a vacation. Sandals does not see the need to refund us for the portion we were sick. - via
