The staff were very nice and professional. They all knew what they were doing. The overall experience was, for me, average at best. The area where we were taken to see the mantas was lovely but crowded with other boats and people. The water visibility was
mediocre. Essentially, for snorkelers, one hangs onto a flat platform with lights facing down for about 45 minutes hoping to see a manta. I did see several (3-4) in that period. According to the staff, one sees a manta "more often than not" The photos on the website, in my opinion, leave the viewer with an incorrect impression. The water is not nearly as clear and the experience not nearly as immersive as, for me, suggested by the site.
I give the people 5 stars and the experience two stars hence the 3 stars overall. - via
