My wife and I booked this tour thinking it was a catamaran sailing trip. It's not. It's a "party boat" with about 100 people on board and loud music. We went in February, and we recommend warm clothing because it is quite chilly on deck. The ocean is also quite cold, so bring a rashguard or ask for a wetsuit for snorkelling. We saw many many whales, including a calf that breached 8 to 10 times. We also saw a manta ray and a few sea turtles. That alone was worth the trip. TIP: when you arrive at the island, the sea gulls who live there are quite aggressive , so be careful when taking your lunch on deck. A gull snatched a piece of potato salad off my plate and the entire top of another passenger's sandwich (ha!) The private beach is nice, although the provided paddleboards have no fins and are impossible to maneuver. I told the tour leader that fins are necessary for controlling the board, and that it's very difficult to stand on them and they zig-zag pointlessly without them. He said "yes, that's the whole point." (?) So try the kayaking instead. The kayaking and paddleboarding are confined to a small area, so there's no exploring allowed. We also had to wait a while for a paddleboard even though there were two more on the boat that the staff refused to take off for guest use (?) TIP: forgo the sugary cocktails they serve on deck and get the bartenders to make you a proper drink at the bar, although a staff member tried to forcibly pour sugary lime cordial into my wife's drink and I had to block him with my hand. That was weird. The entertainment by the staff was fun enough. All-in-all, it was a fun way to spend the day, even though it wasn't what we expected. - via google
