In the mid-1970s, I began thinking about rafting down the Grand Canyon. But I was busy with school, and then with work, and raising a family. Finally, in retirement, my wife and I made the plunge. It was everything we thought it would be, and more. The weather was perfect, the scenery was incredible and the guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and very skilled at their craft. Our only regret is that we waited this long to check this off our bucket list! - via
