Very nice lift operators and ski patrol. Conditions were also ok. The ambience of outdoor evening fire pits was absolutely ruined by a thumping DJ directly next to you in the fire pit area. Really dumb. And then there was a loud live band inside (who was good)… but still, too loud everywhere you went (and I am a professional musician who plays in a band!)
However, the reason we will not return is the women in guest services leave A LOT to be desired. Extremely poor customer service skills. Do not care about their customers at all. Drove an hour and a half to get there. Rushed my family all morning so we could be there by 2:30 and start our night skiing pass by 3pm. Find out when I’m there that I can’t rent just snowboard boots- I must pay for the entire snowboard rental package (I had my own board with me). Absolutely says nothing on the website that you can’t just rent boots a la carte. Absolutely nothing. I checked before going. I would have rented them locally at home if I had known! So, instead of being helpful and understanding, they were extremely rude, abrasive, and flat out could have cared less. They did not even try to figure out a solution. So, as my family started without me, I had to get back into car, miss time on the mountain, and go rent boots at a local shop. Was it seriously worth losing a customer? I grew up going to BB and now we won’t return. It doesnt feel the same. Couldn’t you have been nice and offered something- anything to help me? I guess that’s what happens when you sell out. Management needs to seriously take some hospitality courses. - via
