My favorite dive shop in Perth! Darren (shop owner) is extremely knowledgable, friendly, and kind. He is pleasant to work with and answer questions any diver may have, new or experienced. He will take the time to explain something on the phone, or walk you through different gear/safety tips in person in the shop. He is reasonable as a shop owner and does his best to make gear and courses affordable as a small shop owner.
My course was run by Bear. He runs a strict course and can seem intimidating, but he is actually very approachable and personable. He makes sure that students understand each aspect of the course and are competent and comfortable with the safety skills required for diving. He is also very helpful and went out of his way to help me find gear that worked for me.
This is also one of the few dive shops in the area with tubs available for people to rinse their gear out after a dive, even if it isn't hired from this shop. A small gesture like this goes a long way to make diving more achievable, and teach about proper gear care. I always feel that I am in good hands at Diving Frontier. - via
