Sub Sea was a last minute decision, but definitely a good one. Finding parking was easy because it was early in the morning. The crew was very friendly and the marine naturalist offered interesting information. The ocean was fairly calm, so it was smooth sailing (I took a Dramamine tablet just in case). We didn't see whales until the last 45 minutes. We were on the way back to the dock but then the captain said they had spotted a small pod so we turned around and followed a group of 4 gray whale for about 30 minutes. It was so worth it! We also saw some fighter jets that flew over us so that was an added bonus. The tour was longer than expected, no complaints since we saw the whales' flukes several times. I highly recommend this company, they went out of their way to be sure we had a positive experience. - via
