Activities
First of all, Putra was amazing and super friendly! His tour was well planned and organized! He picked my wife and I up from our hotel in Ubud at 2:30am and took us to Mt. Batur for a sunrise hike. His cousin eka was our guide for the hike and was informative, friendly and encouraging! He also made us an excellent breakfast at the summit by cooking eggs with volcanic steam. Despite the foggy conditions, we still really enjoyed the hike! (the sun did pop out from behind the clouds for a short time!). After the hike, Putra took us to a coffee plantation where we got a brief tour then got to sample an array of herbal teas, chocolates and Bali's own Luwak coffee! This was perfectly planned, as we needed a pick me up after the early start to the day! We then went to Tegallalang Rice Terrace and rode the giant swing for couples over the beautiful terraces. We then got to explore the terraces on foot.
Overall, this experience was a great value and covered a lot of activities! Putra was an awesome host who even offered to take us somewhere else at the end of the tour if we wanted. We were tired from all the activity, so we politely declined his offer. I would recommend taking his tour! - via
