Words cannot describe our family's experience with Ismael and his bio bay your. We traveled on 6/15/18 and this was the highlight of our 10 day vacation. Ismael is amazing; soft spoken, very calm, intelligent and an absolute professional. There were only 4 of us on our 7:30 tour; my husband, 15 year old son and 13 year old daughter and myself. The constellations we exquisite and Ismael explained them all and how he could use them for navigation. And then we got to the bay. Immediately we saw a streak in the water from a fish swimming by. We all then jumped off of the boat to swim. Now, I am a chicken, but seeing my other family members in the water and knowing this may be a once in a lifetime experience; I took the plunge. Amazing! Truly, everywhere you moved in the water it lit up. Ismael enjoyed seeing the kids in the water almost as much as we did. We swam for probably an hour. Very relaxed and we were able to take our time and truly enjoy this. We did not notice any other tours that had their customers IN the water.
I was going to book the kayaking tour; however we noticed that it took 45 minutes to paddle there, then it seemed like they only got to spend 20 minutes or so in the bay. They stayed in the kayaks and did not swim. Then they had to paddle back. Do NOT fall for the big boat tour. I cannot imagine how disappointed I would have been if we had done that.
There is NO better way to enjoy this place than with Aleli Tours and Ismael. We have already decided that if/when we return to PR, we will be doing this again!
