Professional diving centre next to Kendwa Rocks Hotel. Don’t mistake it for the hotel’s scuba centre called Zanzibar Watersports.
Scuba Do is a five star PADI centre and offers snorkeling, as well. I went for the advanced PADI course and did the theory online at home so I could immediately go for the real thing.
My scuba instructor was Adam, a very experienced and calm guy who took the time for the pre-dive briefings. We selected our five dives together, including a night dive, and finished it in two days.
Boats are very fast, equipment good. No toilet on board. Plenty of water bottles and of course do not use layers of sunscreen before diving since it will not do aquatic life much good. Assemble at 9, back after the dives around 2:00 - 2:30.
Toilet at the centre is at the adjacent hotel.
Dive sites are amazing: turtles, sea horses, stone fish, all the tropical fish you’ve seen on Nemo’s and squids at the night dives. Amazing!
