A fantastic dive shop with plenty of variety offered in their dives (27 dive sites). My divemaster, Semi, was experienced, friendly, knew all about the local marine life and different dive sites; as well as being attentive to us underwater. The rental gear was in pretty good condition, I didn't have any problems during my 3 dives. The dive boat was well kept, and we always had a skipper on surface watch during the dives. The conditions in the waters around the island were ideal, with visibility of at least 30 metres and almost no swell or current, even when the wind was gusting. Beautiful warm water, I only needed a spring suit. The dive sites are pristine, with beautiful untouched reefs and a host of diverse marine life. Heaps of turtles and reef sharks. Finally, after the dives, the shop had a really nice and laid back vibe, and we were welcome to just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. I would definitely return to Mana Island just for the diving. - via
A fantastic experience from start to finish. I did a Saturday morning social dive and it was wonderful. The team in the shop really know their stuff, and they sort out all your gear, and load it into their truck for you.
The dive was just off "The Gutter", a small inlet that you do a shore entry into. During the dive I saw tons of amazing fish that I hadn't seen anywhere else in Australia, including a Weedy Sea Dragon, a tiny sea horse, and an octopus guarding her eggs inside a little cave. After the dive, the truck is equipped with a hot water heater, so you can have a warm shower right there in the carpark!
Mick, our divemaster, was terrific, super friendly, calm, and caring about us during the dive. He's done thousands of dives in that area, knew it like the back of his hand, and was keen to share his knowledge.
I can't wait to go back and dive with the team again. - via
