Our family spent 10 days at Giant’s Foot in January and it was the best vacation we have ever had! It was a perfect mix of relaxing and experiencing what Nicaragua has to offer. We took surf lessons, made cheese at a local farm, went on a catamaran day trip, went horseback riding, visited a volcano and watched baby sea turtles be released to the ocean. All three of our children (ages 13, 12 and 10) learned to surf from the amazing surf guides. The guides were always patient and made the experience fun. While taking a break from surfing, we were able to observe the lessons from the water or beach. The staff at Giant’s Foot are fantastic. The food was delicious and the rooms were always clean. The location is beautiful and is right on the beach. We could relax in the hammocks, on the lounge chairs or sit on the raised deck overlooking the ocean. The sandy beach is steps away and the kids spent hours playing games at the beach and swimming in the ocean. We will never forget this family trip and cannot wait to return to Giant’s Foot! - via
