We dove Truk back in 2019…bucket list check! This resort is older, but the rooms were clean, comfy bed, and beautiful 360’ views of the beaches and ocean. Staff was accommodating and kind. Chuuk didn’t appear to be very safe, and we were told not to venture around the island by ourselves. The resort has 24/7 security. The dive operation could definitely improve; old dive boats with rusty nails, staff filling scuba tanks with the wrong gas, dive briefings were just that…brief, and we had an unprofessional dive master. Apart from that, this was a very memorable vacation and epic diving! - via
