Our trek of Mount Batur was truly an experience of a lifetime. After much research, we booked with Bali Trekking Exploration and we were not disappointed. The hike was a challenge for me but our tour guide Kuas was very patient, helpful and encouraging. He speaks good English and he would offer information about the volcano (perhaps to distract us from the tiring trek). When we reached the peak, he took lots of really good photos of me and my friend (InstaPerfect!) He knew where the good spots were. He also showed us the steam vents which were very fascinating. - via
