We went for a surf trip with Oasis wich was a quite irritating experience. I surfed already a lot around the planet, still working on my skills. I prefer to go with a surf school when I don’t know the surf spots and it’s conditions. So we had quite big waves this morning, but you never know what the ocean is giving you. It’s nature and you need to take it as it comes. But what’s super important in my opinion that the surf school gives you all the information about the surf spot and how they want to work with you in the water. And that’s my point of criticism. The teachers said not more than 3 sentences about all that stuff. (It’s a point break. Paddle out to the left. Take care of the rocks) Vamos! No time for questions. A view minutes after paddling out a few really big sets hit the group in between some rocks. Nobody really knew how to act, where the current is taking us. During the sets my teacher tried to explain some things to be save. Hey, but the sets were really fast and there was no more time to talk. In the end I never felt so unsafe in the water like today. My boyfriend was suddenly super close to the rocks and the teacher was screaming at him from far away. In the end the only goal was to get everybody safe out of the water. The surf in total was super short. Even with better waves and a more helpful communication the surf is not worth the price. BUT, A girl told me that the Spanish lessons and the hosting with Spanish families must be really nice. Dear Oasis, please improve your safety instructions and guarantee a better price value - via
