If you are looking to book a trip to Nicaragua to surf, PSL is the spot! My group of 6 surfed every single day from sunrise to sunset and scored absolute Nicaraguan perfection at multiple breaks. Some of the waves we surfed included mellow to powerful reef breaks, a long point-break, and shallow sand bars with world class barrels. The only thing we had to worry about was waking up for the sunrise and getting a good night sleep for the next day of surfing.
In addition to a light breakfast before our first session each day, the chefs cooked an amazing 3 meals per day for my group with great variety. The fridge was always stocked with Gatorade, Powerade, sodas, etc., and there was plenty of purified water to fill up our bottles between sessions. Plus, we chilled out by the pool in the evenings with delicious Nicaraguan Cerveza which was the perfect way to end a long day of surfing.
There definitely are other activities to enjoy while staying at PSL, but my group came to surf and that is exactly what we did. Our guide Renato was amazing and put us on perfect, uncrowded waves every day.
Big shout out to Kim, Armando, and the rest of the staff for being so helpful and providing us with an amazing experience. PSL met and exceeded all of our expectations by far and I can not wait to book another trip. - via
