While I cannot say anything about the equipment or the dives themselves, the owner is a rude and extremely selfish person. As any self-respecting and experienced dive professional would know and understand 1) answering questions for a novice is important to increase their comfort level 2) cancelling due to health reasons is reasonable, especially if the issue is with air passages (coughing). Even though we cancelled a day in advance, visiting the shop in person, Alex insisted on holding back the entire advance. He promised to pay a partial refund but when we followed up on email he was extremely dismissive claiming he would not pay anything and that we "wasted" his time asking questions. Honestly a very sub-par experience dealing with this dive shop. Would recommend finding a better dive shop in Antibes - via
