Rubina is an amazing person and therapist. I know her personally and can attest to how seriously she takes her privilege to assist in another person’s healing. She has sought out so much additional training to her social work training and, as a result, she has become one of the best in the business.
I’d also like to address the review provided by “TransAdam K” or whoever is hiding behind this fake profile, which is more than obvious because they changed their review and changed the content of their slanderous review. There are multiple things I take issue with in that review, but here are a couple: 1. It’s fake. 2. It’s dishonest, and 3. It’s more than a little offensive to the trans population, calling themselves a “he/she.” Clearly this person has no idea the plight of a trans person and the offensive nature of this term. But I’ll tell you who does—Rubina does. She’s too conscious, educated, and culturally humble to ever use terminology like that and you, TransAdam K, should be ashamed of yourself for trying to hurt someone else’s career on a false premise. So perhaps you should STRONGLY consider removing your slanderous review. - via
