First time coming to this dive center for diving on Tioman Island, Pahang Malaysia. The location of the scuba diving center is in Kampung Tekek, Pulau Tioman, Malaysia and is located about 400 meters from the jetty (jetty Kampung Tekek), local clinic and Tioman Airport and 350 meter from auto teller machine (ATM). The distance of this dive center is also about 250 meters from the mosque. For those staying at the dive center, transportation is provided from the jetty to dive center and from the dive center to the jetty.
Visitors can take a ferry from Tanjung Gemok Jetty in Rompin Pahang or Mersing Jetty in Mersing Johor to this place with a ferry ride for 2 hours, ferry cost in the range of RM45 (adults - one way). Don't forget to get a Malaysia Marine Park permit before boarding the ferry (RM5).
The dive center has a diving package to get a scuba diving license, fundive activities, discovery scuba diving and also overnight packages. It also offers English -speaking instructors for participants who come from abroad. It is also an accredited center to train students in the field of scuba sports under the Skills Development Department (JPK) of the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia (MOHR).
The dive center also has its own house reef and its location is just in front of the dive center at a distance of 200 meters.
Clean water facilities, comfortable bedding and air conditioning and just next to the dive center. In addition, the quiet and clean environment of the dive center is ideal for scuba diving enthusiasts to perform activities while relaxing with friends.
In terms of price, it is affordable and very worthwhile if the activities are taken in a package that includes scuba diving activities, bedrooms with air-conditioning ( attached bathroom) and Malaysian village-style cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. - via
