We rented two single kayaks (since they did not have a double kayak when we went). We rented for two hours and went out for about an hour and a half. One hour would probably be too short to do a loop around the whole lagoon, but two hours was longer than we needed.
We enjoyed the workout on the calm waters with a nice breeze. We didn't see much marine life, but the scenery and vegetation around the lagoon were pretty.
Make sure to bring plenty of water and reapply sunscreen frequently since you're very exposed and sweaty. - via
