On Saturday, September 15th, I visited Frontier Skydivers for my first ever Skydive. I was greeted by friendly employees and quickly brought into the training room and given instructions on how to properly fall, and align myself on the plain door edge. The gentleman who trained me, John, was very good at putting my fears at east. He could tell that I was nervous and checked on me several times to make sure I was still feeling up to it. I waited for approximately 3 and a half hours to make my jump (my appointment was at 11:30am) but this came as no surprise since the website is clear about the wait time, and John advised me upon arrival of how long my wait was.
I wish that I could remember the name of the man who I jumped with, but sadly my nerves washed his name right out of my head. He was, however, incredible. He was polite and knowledgeable and gave clear instructions that were easy to follow from the time we boarded the plane, to the time we landed safely on the ground. I'm so glad I opted to skydive here for the first time, as everyone was so wonderful. I paid extra for the pictures and I'm so glad I did. I received a few hundred pictures (the GoPro takes a photo every half second) and they were incredible.
I'll never forget this experience, and I can't wait to do it again! - via
