They are liars and thieves. Be forewarned. We booked a snorkel trip in December 2022. They cancelled it because of weather and promised a refund in accordance with their written policy. For over a month, I tried to get that refund. They communicated all kinds of excuses like "couldn't find your reservation" even thought it was at the top of the text stream, or "CC processing company made a mistake and as soon as they correct that mistake I can refund what is due you". Finally asked my credit card company to reverse the charge. I thought this was done. They then lied and told the credit card company that services were provided, despite their text communications with me promising a refund. They provided the CC company with copies of our digitally completed waiver forms, claiming that we completed those at the office on the day of the tour; another lie. We were out of the country for a while, and by the time I noticed that the credit card company had reinstated the charge the dispute period had ended. So even though I had written proof that the tour was canceled by them and that they had promised a refund, their lies allowed them to keep my money. So I contacted Great Escape again. The thief then had the nerve to complain to me claiming that I cost him money and time by disputing the charge with the credit card company. After that, no further responses from him. It is clear to me that they take your money but never intend to return it if the tour is canceled because of weather. I am looking for other legal avenues to pursue against this thief. Don’t let them fool you. Look at other reviews. This is a pattern with them. They make up excuses and blame others. - via google
